Whole is better than sum of its parts
Yesterday i was eating rasogolla . It was the typical tamil version , a huge one from Krishna sweets courtesy my father in law. It was sweet of him to remember that I dont eat very sweet sweets. I was breaking the rasogolla into parts and consuming it. After eating,I still had an empty feeling, its like they say u should consume a puchka (panipoori) as a whole to actually get the taste and majaa of it. So as I went to bed I remembered this "Whole is better than the sum of its parts" and how much it relates to our life... A strange comparison but i felt it made a lot of sense..

It is all a matter of perception. try thinking of each part as a whole & see the difference.
ReplyDeleteSimply put, if you had taken one part of the Rasagolla thinking of it as a whole & distributed the other parts to us, the world would have been a happier place. You tried to hog the whole thing alone, though in parts, that is why the emptiness. Ho, Ho !!!
Hee Hee will definetly try it next time.

ReplyDeleteWell this blog was just meant to satisfy people who love to eat the panipoori and rasogolla as a WHOLE and how much they miss Kolkotta and Mumbai for it. But looks like it took into a sermon turn .. :)
